Bordering the Gironde Estuary on its right bank, the 58-hectare vineyard is planted with 36 hectares of red grapes and 22 hectares of white grapes The Château Haut-Grelot Blanc is a classic Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon blend. This white Bordeaux shows subtle hints of grapefruit and lemon pith with a round palate and a lingering finish. A gorgeous aperitif, and pairs well to light pasta dishes and fish.

2020 vintage conditions in were perfect in many ways. A warm, dry early season gave way to a mild, sometimes cool, February and March which allowed for ripening at a very relaxed pace. Small yields across all regions concentrated the fruit flavours while the dry conditions led to low disease pressures. A vibrant, textural white with hints of almond blossom, quince and ripe pear. Tangy, almost exotic but pithy and delicious.

A slightly spicy, long lemon finish. The lack of sulfites used in the vineyard and in production combined with careful winemaking, this wine has incredibly low sulfite levels in the finished wine.
