When the appellation was first classified in the 1930’s the then proprietor was not interested, hence this is surrounded by an appellation of which it is not part. Made predominatly with Grenache and a little Syrah, full-bodied wine with hedgerow fruit and herbs in generous amounts.
Jam-like red fruit and nuances of laurel and roasted tones. The taste sets in elegantly and with fullness and develops delicately aromatically with a long, balanced finish.
