Diforti’s lightly smoked Alpine Speck is an old family favourite.
Based on a traditional recipe of Alto Adige in the Italian Alps, our Speck is made from the finest quality pork. Seasoned with salt and spices, the meat is briefly smoked with beech and maple wood in a special oven before being left to cure.
The perfect spicy addition to any authentic Italian food platter, our Alpine Speck is delicious when joined by a selection of vegetable antipasti, such as chargrilled artichokes.
