We stock Ekro Dutch veal and can order English Rose Veal at any time. Our Dutch veal has a subtle flavour. It is easily digestible, low in cholesterol and rich in vitamins and minerals. The calve's stalls are spacious, light and airy and calve's are fed calf milk supplemented with roughage, which makes an important contribution to improving animal welfare.
The Foundation for Quality Guarantee of the Veal Sector (SKV) carries out intensive checks at all of the VanDrie Group’s veal farms to monitor the calves’ health and quality of their feed. The Integrated Chain Management (Integrale Keten Beheersing or IKB) quality management system forms the basis for the checks, which guarantees high-quality, safe and delicious veal.
Ekro’s traceability system is the only one of its kind in the world. Each meat part that leaves the company carries the individual ID number (ear tag number) of the animal. This means the meat can always be traced to an individual animal.
