If you continue to browse and use this website, you accept and agree to be bound by the Website Terms of Use, the Privacy & Cookies Policy and these Terms and Conditions of Sale, all of which govern The Hampstead Butcher & Providore's relationship with you and apply to the sale of goods by us, The Hampstead Butcher & Providore, to you, the customer, in-store, by telephone, email, and via our website, or other means to our team. Please read carefully before purchasing your items.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS

The allergens present in our produce can be viewed in detail here.

We take care to ensure product descriptions, pictures, prices and information are accurate. However, we do not accept liability for any inaccuracies, errors or omissions. The colours, specifications, dimensions and descriptions of items on the website and flyers are quoted as accurately as possible, but please note that all images are for illustration purposes only. The colours you see will depend on the resolution of your monitor and we cannot therefore guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will always reflect accurately the colour of the item delivered. We reserve the right from time to time to vary the dimensions, specifications, descriptions and quantities of items displayed on our website without prior notice.

SUBSTITUTIONS

Products are subject to availability and market conditions. In the rare event that we are unable to supply a product, we reserve the right to substitute an item with another item of equal or greater value than the original or issue a refund for the product. This applies also to items within hampers, gift boxes and bespoke selections. In these circumstances, we will make every effort to ensure that the style and quality of the substitution is as similar to the original item as possible. We may also select a replacement item if we believe it is in keeping with a particular theme of one of our selection boxes. In instances where we believe we must make a substitution we will make every effort to notify you of this ahead of time. 

PRICES AND PAYMENT

We regularly review the prices of our products and may change them without notice.

Our products are priced by unit. We show the weight price for guidance only. Due to the nature of our products the minimum and maximum weight cannot always be guaranteed. As such, products may not always meet the exact criteria stated on our website. We will not accept liability for underweight or overweight products. We allow a torelance of +/-5% of the stated weight within which there is no applicable refund or request for additonal payment. The published price is the unit price. We will, however, always endeavour to meet weight expectations and the minimum weight.

All product prices are inclusive of any applicable VAT.

Secure payments are made using the secure server from WorldPay.

The order total stated when you place your order, and recorded in your order confirmation, is the price you will pay for the goods.

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your order, or deliveries to you, if we are refused authority from your card issuer for payment or if a payment has been rejected by your bank. You must contact us to arrange payment and wait for that payment to go through before you can place another order.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

We sell wine and beer on our website which are age-restricted and you must not purchase those products if you are below the required age. By placing an order for an age-restricted product, you are confirming that both you and the recipient are of the requisite age.

YOUR ORDER

By completing and submitting an order with us you are agreeing to a contract to buy the goods you have chosen (subject to these Terms & Conditions). You will receive an automated confirmation of your order by email, summarising the details of your order including goods you ordered and collection/delivery date chosen by you. If we cannot accept your order, we will notify you.

When you place an order for delivery you are required to provide the delivery address. Your chosen delivery address is stated within your automated confirmation email, and it is your responsibility to ensure that this address is correct.

Minimum order value for delivery or collection is £50. We reserve the right to alter the existing, or introduce new, minimum spend conditions.

We offer a cooking service for selected meat cuts and joints. The cooking fee is £40. There are limited cooking slots so please place your cooking orders in adance.

Orders may be placed up to 3pm the day before delivery, subject to the availability of stock and available delivery capacity with our carriers. 

You may amend or cancel your order* up to midday 3 weekdays before your confirmed day of delivery or collection. To amend or cancel an order please email info@hampsteadbutcher.com. Amendments and cancellations cannot be accepted beyond this deadline as provisions have been sought.  * not applicable, where we have placed orders specifically to fulfil your order, e.g. seasonal items.

An admin cancellation fee may apply.

We sell to end users only. You must not resell products purchased from our website.

We reserve the right to suspend or close your account with us at our discretion.

COLLECTIONS

Collection is available 7 days a week (except Christmas Day and Boxing Day) from all our shops within the confirmed time slot.

We reserve the right to make some collection dates unavailable. Should we have to change your collection date, we will always advise you first to find a solution. 

You are strongly advised to inspect your order on collection. We warrant that goods should not be defective or not as ordered (with the exception of substitutions) upon collection; it is your responsibility to contact us within 24 hours if you believe any of the products collected to be defective or not as ordered (with the exception of substitutions).

Our warranty does not cover damage that has occurred to the goods while in your possession, including incorrect cooking methods.

DELIVERIES

Over the festive season deliveries beyond the listed postcodes below will not be possible.

We will send you a bespoke payment link for any delivery or other charge not already included when you checkout. including, but not exclusively, congestion or toll charges.

We, along with our 3rd-party courier, will endeavour to ensure that your order reaches you on your chosen delivery date. Circumstances beyond their and our control include but are not limited to adverse weather conditions, vehicle breakdown, strike action, Acts of God, fire, civil unrest, equipment failure, war and disruption of energy or water supply.

You are strongly advised to inspect your delivery on arrival. We warrant that goods should not be defective, or not as ordered (with the exception of substitutions) upon delivery; it is your responsibility to contact us within 24 hours if you believe any of the products received to be defective or not as ordered (with the exception of substitutions) on arrival.

Should you believe any of the goods received to be damaged, you must take clear photographs of the damage and email them to info@hampsteadbutcher.com, along with your order number, delivery date and any other information that could be useful in satisfying your concerns. We cannot process damage complaints without photographic proof of damage.

Our warranty does not cover damage that has occurred to the goods while in your possession, including incorrect cooking methods.

IN-STORE PURCHASES

Orders made in-store are prepared in sight of the customer and to the customers satisfaction. We warrant that goods should not be defective, or not as ordered. It is your responsibility to contact us within 24 hours if you believe any of the products purchased to be defective or not as ordered.

Should you believe any product to be defective or not as ordered, you must take clear photographs of the damage and email them to info@hampsteadbutcher.com, along with proof of purchase, purchase location and date and any other information that could be useful in satisfying your concerns. We cannot process any such matter without proof of purchase and photographic proof of damage.

Our warranty does not cover damage that has occurred to the goods while in your possession, including incorrect cooking methods.

LOCAL DELIVERY

Over the festive season deliveries beyond the listed postcodes below will not be possible.

Our local delivery service is available Monday to Saturday (except Christmas Day and Boxing Day) within the confirmed time slot.

Zone 1 - For deliveries within NW1, NW2, NW3, NW5, NW6, NW8, NW11, N2, N6, N8, N10, N19

  • Deliveries Monday to Saturday, 11pm-5pm are FREE
  • Deliveries Monday to Friday, 5pm-7pm we add £5

Zone 2 - For deliveries within NW4, N3, N4, N7, N11, N12, N22, W9

  • Deliveries Monday to Saturday, 11pm-5pm we add £10
  • Deliveries Monday to Friday, 5pm-7pm we add £15

Zone 3- For deliveries within other London postcodes there is a charge between £15 and £30. It will be dispatched (Monday-Friday) for next day delivery. This and any additional congestion zone fee will be charged separately and payment must be received before 12pm noon the day before intended delivery. It may not be possible to deliver certain perishable goods overnight. A member of our team will be in touch if this is the case.

For deliveries that are slightly further afield please contact us and we’ll work out a delivery price if we deem a delivery is possible.

Assuming reasonable and normal conditions in terms of temperature (those which are commonly expected in the delivery supply chain), the packaging we use will keep your order cool until the time of delivery. It is your responsibility to ensure that goods are refrigerated as soon as they are received.

You are responsible for ensuring that someone is able to accept your order on your chosen delivery date and during the chosen time slot.

Re-delivery costs may apply.

You may instruct us with a leave safe instruction on your order, but this remains entirely at our discretion; parcels will only be left should we feel it safe to do so.

VOUCHER DELIVERY – UK MAINLAND ONLY

Vouchers hand delivered by our own courier within Zone 1 (NW1, NW2, NW3, NW5, NW6, NW8, NW11, N2, N6, N8, N10, N19) are delivered free of charge.

Vouchers delivered beyond the above-mentioned free delivery postcodes, incur a postage charge of £8.75 (tracked and signed for postal service which includes insuring contents). There is one charge per delivery so multiple vouchers to the same address will incur in one single charge.

NATIONWIDE DELIVERY – UK MAINLAND ONLY

This service is available from Monday (with delivery on Wednesday) to Wednesday (with delivery on Friday) excluding public holidays. It may not be possible to deliver certain perishable goods and a member of our team will be in touch if this is the case.

Assuming reasonable and normal conditions in terms of temperature (those which are commonly expected in the delivery supply chain), the packaging we use will keep your order cool until midday of your day of delivery. It is your responsibility to ensure that goods are refrigerated as soon as they are received.

These deliveries can only be made on a “no signature required” basis, whereby if you are not home to take the delivery the courier will leave the parcel outside your home or with a neighbour, if one is available and prepared to accept the delivery.

For delivery of non-perishable produce for which we need to use a 3rd-party courier we charge £18. Our 3rd-party courier will deliver your order within 2 working days after the day of despatch.

For delivery of an order including any perishable produce for which we need to use a 3rd-party courier we charge £20. Our 3rd-party courier will deliver your order before midday on the day after despatch.

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your order, or deliveries to you, should a 3rd-party courier is unable to confirm delivery within a satisfactory and safe time-frame.
