This jam comes from the Marche region, (pronounced ‘marke’) which is still very much off the tourist trail and has a rich agricultural tradition. The apricots used in our jam have a very lovely flavour and plumpness. When looking for a jam, I have strict criteria which I can summarize into 3 points: low added sugar, high content of high-quality fruits and no added pectin. This award-winning product ticks each of these criteria and delivers a jam where you can really taste the ripe apricots. The generous amount of fruit has been gently and slowly cooked retaining the vibrancy, structure and tender skin of the fruits. It is a soft set jam which is wonderful for baking as well as a treat on your morning toast.
