From Monday 18th to Wednesday 20th August at our Hampstead shop our staff will run a series of activities that will further engage, interest and excite kids (and their parents/guardians) in the mastery of chicken butchery, sausage making and cheese tasting.
Cheeses from cows, goats & sheep. Our cheese expert will run a fun demonstration for 8 kids (and their parents/guardians) around a fun, smelly and tasty cheeseboard. The kids will don the full uniform of white coats, hairnets and blue gloves. They’ll touch, taste and match cheeses with animals and countries. Each will take away a cheese selection.
Chicken Butchery - Our head butcher will run a fun demonstration for 8 kids (and their parents/guardians) around the breaking down of free-range chickens. The kids will don the full uniform of white coats, hairnets and blue gloves. They’ll learn how to break down a chicken carcass and then marinade the pieces in our favourite marinades, vac pack for freshness and then take their meat home for cooking.
Sausage Making – Our sausage maker runs a fun demonstration for 8 kids (and their parents/guardians) around the production of our freshly produced, free-range sausages. The kids will don the full uniform of white coats, hairnets and blue gloves. Using free-range English pork, our students will prepare the pork and sausage mix, stuff & link sausages, then take home their work.
The price includes one child accompanied by one parent/guardian.
Please note that all events start at 4pm and last for approximately 1 hour. Only one session in the week can be booked per person. Please select the date you wish to attend from the list below.
